Is it Worth Making the Switch to Natural Deodorant?

🌿 So, let’s talk natural deodorants! As someone who prioritizes my health and wellness, making the switch from traditional deodorants to natural options was a no-brainer for me. The thought of putting harmful ingredients like aluminum, parabens, and phthalates on my skin - so close to important lymphatic systems - just didn’t sit right with me. Did you know that over 60% of the ingredients applied to your skin actually get absorbed into your bloodstream?

One of the most toxic ingredients you’ll find in conventional deodorants is fragrance. The ingredient "fragrance" (if you can even call it that) is a blank term for many hidden ingredients to create the desired scent. The hidden ingredients can consist of a multitude of harmful chemical ingredients. Deodorants containing fragrance is enough reason for me to steer clear of traditional deodorants.

I’ve had my fair share of trial and error with natural deodorants, but I’ve finally found my holy grail - PrimallyPure! Their deodorant is made with baking soda, a key ingredient that really helps neutralize body odor for me. Plus, it’s fragrance and phthalate-free, which gives me peace of mind knowing I’m not putting harmful chemicals on my body.

When it comes to natural deodorants, it’s important to remember that they are not antiperspirants. Sweating is a natural and healthy bodily function, and using antiperspirants to block sweat may not be the best choice for your overall health.

I’ve tried a variety of natural deodorant brands like Schmidts, Crystal, Native, Nubian Heritage, and TOMS, but none have worked as well as Primally Pure for me. It’s all about finding what works best for your body and sticking with it.
